As I observe what’s going on around these days I could feel some resistance popping up so I thought I’d ask Zero if he had comments on the idea of resistance. Here we go:

(Zero in quotations)

“Resistance is unique to each being but generally speaking, it is the strong belief that something is wrong in your experience. As you focus on it, the frequency your expressing is that “something is wrong and I need to fight against it”. This frequency creates more of something being wrong in your experiences, potentially intensifies the issue you’re focusing on, and also can create other experiences you don’t prefer. The famous saying “when it rains it pours” comes from the observation that when something that bothers you happens, more experiences like that follow.

Instead you might wish to practice acceptance. Accept that what is happening. Understand that when you encounter things you don’t prefer in your life, they are carrying a message or teaching you something about yourself and your beliefs. Showing you that a particular existing set of beliefs you hold about yourself and the world create the experience you’re experiencing now.

Be honest with yourself and discover what beliefs you hold that create this feeling of resistance. Once you locate them, learn what beliefs you can change that will create the experiences you prefer and focus on them.

We can use David as an example. David is feeling much better as he practices but has resistance to seeing people not working together for what he feels is to the benefit of mankind and the planet. It may seem like a completely justified belief. He believed it was. So when he observes situations where he thinks people are working contradictory to that, he sometimes becomes frustrated and angry, believing those circumstances should change.

What would benefit David is to accept what is happening. You cannot stop what is. What is, already is. And after acceptance, to look into his beliefs. We can break them down here:

David believes that the Earth is sacred and humanity is one shared thought away from working and living peacefully together in harmony with the planet. Dig a little deeper into that and this is more accurately a belief that people do not work together and do not see the planet as sacred. This can be boiled down even further. A belief that people are selfish. And even deeper, an almost subconscious belief that HE is selfish.

This is a simplification as their are many nuances to a person’s beliefs and how they affect their experience but you can now see why he is manifesting these sorts of experiences and by focusing in and dwelling on them when he does observe them, he creates more.

In this example, it would serve David to isolate the belief and surrounding beliefs “people are selfish and do not cooperate” and change them to something he wishes to experience. In his case it could be the exact opposite, “people are selfless and work together.” There are certainly many examples of that to observe. Or possibly adjust his perspective on the idea of selfishness. From being a mostly greed based idea to a sign of insecurity or fear and search for safety and happiness which is far more relatable, understandable and less connected to what David believes are negative connotations.

Once these old beliefs are identified and what the new beliefs are needed to create the experiences you prefer are discovered, practice believing those new beliefs. In some cases it may take practice. Practice imagining these things occurring. Feel the feelings you’d have if you believed that, if you were witnessing the results of that belief in your outside world and cultivate them. Make them your dominant frequency. When something is observed contradictory to your new beliefs, correct yourself. Find the signs of your new beliefs and when you begin to see signs of your new beliefs occurring in your outside world, recognize them for what they are, the actualized results of your new beliefs. As you progress and you’re new world begins to take shape, move forward, re-analyze, and tweak your beliefs to more suit your shifting preferences.

To us this level of analysis is fun to play in. Traveling inside and making adjustments to affect your experience. Remember you are creators and you’re beginning to remember just how unlimited your ability to create is. You don’t need to spend time and effort resisting what already is. Move forward in life accepting and learning from experiences you don’t like and use them to learn about yourself and how to create the type of experiences you want.”

Uhhh, so that got unexpectedly personal. But the name of the game, I guess haha. I do notice that as I practice acceptance and looking more closely into my beliefs, it’s having a drastic effect on how I feel and what things are happening around me. If I look back to a past version of myself, the idea of a pandemic of any kind would have ruined me. But while I do see the challenges we face together, I’ve seen far more example of good will and generosity surrounding us. I normally would have left a situation like this feeling wildly depressed and while again, I can see some areas that I don’t enjoy, I instead feel appreciative, excited, and inspired.
